4. Pacha Macau
With a billing as the “largest night club in town”, you can make your way from the dance floor to a vast outdoor terrace. This Ibiza-style nightclub is a part of the newly-opened Studio City on the Cotai Strip, and among the recent star guest DJs has been Paris Hilton.
5. China Rouge
Re-opened after an extensive refurbishment, this dimly-lit and intimate lounge bar inside the Galaxy precinct was designed and decorated to celebrate old Shanghai - with additional contemporary features. Expect live entertainment as you select your cocktail.
6. 38 Lounge
On the top floor of the Altira hotel is the upmarket 38 Lounge, where you can sit, colourful cocktail in hand, either indoors or out on the terrace while listening to the music from the local DJ. The 38 Lounge is popular with groups, while couples find it and the view romantic.
7. Whiskey Bar
Located on the 16th floor of the Starworld Hotel is a bar that thrives on entertaining the guests with live music and regular themed events such as ladies’ night on Thursdays. Step outside onto the terrace and you can sip on your glass of wine under the stars.
8. Club Cubic
Within the Cotai Strip’s City of Dreams is the ever popular and vibrant Club Cubic, one of Macau’s largest nightclubs, where partying groups can meet, mingle and watch a show before dancing into the wee hours, the cocktail list enticing.
9. Belini Lounge
Party into the early hours at a lounge, within the Venetian, where the colourful cocktails flow, and live music is Phunk Shui. The staff members are “bevertainers”. And if you venture there on a Wednesday night, well, the drinks for the ladies are free from 10pm until 2am.
10. St. Regis Bar
The newest addition to Macau, this bar has kept an 80-year hotel tradition intact by creating a special Bloody Mary. But there’s a twist as this version of the chain’s signature cocktail has some different ingredients than others. It’s worth sipping as you sit back to live music.
