Other airlines: Not eligible, even on an NZ flight number, unless listed below. Multi-flight itineraries: 2x applies only to individual flights meeting all criteria. Domestic connections, beyond points and out-of-period flights earn standard points. Group, entity and government bookings: Standard Air NZ rules apply. Qualifying Partner Airline Flights: Must be booked on an Air NZ flight number: Cathay Pacific: AKL/CHC–HKG, United: AKL/CHC–SFO, Air China: AKL–Beijing. Some partner booking classes don't earn Status Points, so won't qualify. Promotional Period & Travel Period: Book: 12.01am 19 Oct – 11.59pm 21 Oct 2026 (NZST). Travel: 1–28 Feb 2027 or 1 May–30 Jun 2027. Flights departing outside the travel period don't qualify, even if other flights in the booking do. Earning Status Points: 2x standard Status Points for the route and booking class. Credited within eight weeks of completing travel. ANZ Airpoints Visa Platinum and ANZ Visa Business Airpoints cardholders: 250% total (50% card bonus plus 2x, with the 2x applying to the standard earn only). Ineligible Fares & Bookings: Airpoints reward flights, Koru reward classes (X, I), travel industry classes (N, R), free tickets, prize/competition tickets. Changes & Cancellations: Cancellation voids the promotion. Changes stay eligible only if: the original booking was made 19–21 Oct, the new dates are within the travel period, the new flight is Premium Economy or Business Premier and an Eligible Flight. Fare rules, fees and fare differences still apply. New Bookings & Flight Credits: New bookings only. Segments added to a PNR created before 12.01am 19 Oct are ineligible.
