In fact, Luxury, Unique and Bespoke experiences are a particular specialty for him (among a long list of specialist areas), and Italy is one of the countries where he really loves to put his knowledge into action.

Recently one of his clients – a mother and daughter – wanted to do a unique trip through Italy, so Craig organised private touring with access to the Vatican, St Peters Basilica and the Colosseum. His clients were treated to the underground chambers of the Colosseum at night, followed by an amazing rooftop dinner, and said it was the best way to see these sights. No queuing, no waiting, just direct questions and answers from their guide, and exclusive behind the scenes access.

Craig says, “We can even shut down a museum for a private dinner. Just let me know what you want to do and I can usually make it happen. You’ll be amazed at what you can do – and trust me, I’ll have suggestions for most destinations that might never have crossed your mind.”

Another of his favourite destinations is the USA, having travelled to several iconic cities there himself. Naturally, his top picks are New York (five days minimum, he insists – or you’ll regret it!) and New Orleans (amazing southern food, culture and music). Chicago is on his must-do-soon list, given its world-leading reputation for architecture and art. And even though the US itself has a huge array of experiences, if you have time, Craig recommends adding on Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, Canada or a cruise – after all, if you’re already in the neighbourhood…
