Dylan Shore’s approach to travel is anything but ordinary. Whether guiding someone on their dream honeymoon or curating a solo adventure, his passion for exploring the world translates into an ability to craft highly personalised experiences for his clients.

While Dylan’s own travels have taken him across the globe, Prague holds a special place in his heart. “Walking through the city with the morning fog slowly disappearing to reveal the stunning architecture felt like stepping into a fairytale,” he shares. But his fondest memory is a more personal one. “The best memory I have was introducing my mum to her first Broadway show in New York. Being able to take her around such an incredible city and create unforgettable memories with someone I love is something I will always cherish.”

For Dylan, travel is more than just visiting new destinations. It’s about immersing himself in different cultures, creating lasting memories, and gaining new perspectives, as he did during his stay at the JW Marriott El Convento, a converted convent that blends Peruvian culture with modern luxury in Cusco, Peru. “I loved the chance to experience local culture firsthand, with displays from weavers and craftspeople in the hotel’s private courtyards,” Dylan says.

For Dylan, travel is about more than just ticking off the sights. “Travel for me is getting to experience the world and see how different my life is,” he says. “I’m lucky to step into the lives of others, even if it’s just for a short time, and see how different people navigate beautiful spaces all over the world.”

This philosophy follows Dylan into his role as a travel advisor, where he brings that same mindset of connection and discovery into planning unforgettable experiences for his clients. One of the highlights of Dylan’s travel career was the opportunity to create an unforgettable honeymoon for a special couple. “They stayed in a luxury lodge where they experienced the local wildlife up close, with views of the watering hole right from their room,” Dylan shares. “It was a joy to help them craft an unforgettable start to the rest of their lives together.”

It's this level of personal care, along with Dylan’s attention to detail, that makes him an exceptional travel advisor. He goes above and beyond for his clients and is committed to finding unique, boutique experiences for each and every one of them. “I believe in seeking out one-of-a-kind experiences that ensure each trip is as unique as the people I’m planning it for,” he says.

Dylan is ready and waiting to craft your next unforgettable journey.

What is your number one travel tip?

My number one tip is to book that transfer and an airport lounge. The journey can be just as amazing as the destination and by taking advantage of the many beautiful lounges, you can arrive in your destination fresh and well-rested whilst escaping the crowded main areas of the airports - you'll also get to enjoy barista coffee, other beverages, and a range of delightful food to help you refuel and recharge in luxury. There is also nothing better than arriving in your destination knowing someone is there to collect you in your own private car to make sure you start your experience in style in the most relaxed way possible. Or knowing you do not have to haggle with a taxi driver or worry about an Uber cancelling! These small touches make all the difference when travelling.

How do you go above and beyond for your clients?

I believe my research into out-of-the-box activities, places to stay, and other unique experiences gives my clients a one-of-a-kind experience and stories to tell for years to come. I try to make every destination worthy of a tale that you can pass on to friends, family, and other loved ones on your return. I like to find something different that you might not normally consider, as the unknown often provides the most magical experiences and memories. Some of my favourite hidden gems include a day-trip to Meteora in Athens, getting you out of the main city to visit the monasteries built by the monks high on cliffs in the sky that are filled with a different side of Greek history. I also adore a hidden location in Paros where you can experience the Valley of the Butterflies, and see a species unique to the Mediterranean.

What is the most amazing experience you have created for a client?

The most memorable experience I created was a family holiday to Singapore - a multi-generation family experience is always a pleasure to put together. One family always springs to mind; they always told me they struggle to find the time to take a moment with each other, so I focused on finding time in the trip that they would be able to make memories together. I was able to secure a suite for the family at the spectacular Marina Bay Sands and they were able to have a gorgeous, shared space to reconnect as a family. I was also able to sprinkle that one-of-a-kind magic into this client's trip with a VIP guided trip to Universal Studios and Legoland, where they had a private driver and were able to skip the lines, and get away from the crowds. This was the most important thing and I believe in finding ways to take advantage of what each destination has to offer.

What are your favourite destinations and why?

My favourite locations to visit include more of a Central European touch, like Czechia, Austria and Switzerland. I adore the cobbled streets, unique treats to eat, and the handmade crafts found in the markets. I recall walking the streets of Prague with friends with a funnel cake called a Trdelník topped with ice cream, looking through some of the local jewellers who specialise in handmade garnet jewellery - every piece was a work of art with details and character that would make the perfect souvenir. The markets in Salzburg are spectacular and offer a variety of handcrafted ornaments and crafts. I last came back from Salzburg with handmade Christmas ornaments made from cinnamon and clove, which bring back special memories each year that I bring them out. But most of all, I remember stepping into a watchmaker's store in Switzerland; the team in store were able to walk me through the watch-making process and show me how each style of watch they had on offer started from a spark of inspiration taken from the local mountains, wildlife, or flowers in the valleys that surrounded the city of Lucerne. This idea was then transformed into a beautiful handcrafted automatic watch that spoke about the history and magic of Switzerland.
