When asked about her favourite travel memory, Jay smiles: "One of my favourite trips was taking my mum to Fiji for her 60th birthday. We spent four days on the Coral Coast and then enjoyed a 7-night cruise around the Yasawa Islands with 20 friends and family. The staff, food, and stunning scenery were perfect, and the Fijian people’s singing and dancing created such a joyful atmosphere. My mum still has a photo of us from that trip on her fridge 23 years later. It was a holiday full of laughter, love, and memories that will last a lifetime."

Jay is also a devotee of ultra-luxury hotels, with one particularly magical experience at the Fairmont Château Lake Louise in Canada’s Rockies. She recalls: "Waking up to a frozen lake sparkling like glass, snow-covered peaks everywhere, sipping hot chocolate by the fire — it felt like living inside a postcard."

Looking ahead, Jay’s travel bucket list includes an African safari and staying at the famous giraffe hotel, where wild giraffes join you for breakfast. "Experiencing a luxury safari and seeing wild animals in their natural habitat would be incredible", she says. "I’d also love to relax on beautiful beaches and immerse myself in the local culture — dancing, music, and authentic experiences with the people. And of course, I’d like to do it all in style with some luxury touches!"

Her number one travel tip captures her philosophy perfectly: "Embrace flexibility and stay open to the unexpected. Planning is important, but the most unforgettable moments often come from experiences you didn’t anticipate. Let go of perfection and allow the journey to unfold naturally — because the best memories are rarely on the itinerary."
